The ITED® is a multiple-choice test that provides information about your high-school student's progress in achieving skills related to long-term goals of secondary education.   The results from the test will give you diagnostic data that will identify your student's strengths and weaknesses.  The ITED® also provides better preparation for other high-stakes testing such as the SAT and the ACT. Students in grades 9-12 may be tested together as a group.

The nine areas tested include:  Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Language:  Revising Written Materials and Spelling, Mathematics:  Concepts, Problem Solving and Computation. Analysis of Social Studies and Science Materials and Sources of Information are optional, and not required in the state of NC.
