Basic Achievement
Skills Inventory ™ (BASI ™) (grades 3-12) $40
The BASI ™ is a
nationally standardized achievement test that offers a current, valid,
and reliable assessment tool that is highly correlated to other leading
achievement tests. (normed in 2002-2003) The test administrator is not
required to have a bachelor’s degree. The test administrator must be
familiar with testing, be a teacher, or have experience administering a
standardized test. This test meets all of the state requirements for
the testing of homeschoolers in NC.
The test takes
approximately 2 hours to administer and tests the following areas:

Vocabulary
·
Spelling
·
Language Mechanics
·
Reading Comprehension
·
Math Computation
·
Math Application
Your report will yield
standard scores, national percentile rankings, grade equivalency, age
equivalency, and performance classification. Your report will also
identify specific areas of strength or weakness. You can expect your
scores in 3-6 weeks. Please order at least 4 weeks ahead of time so
that we will be sure to have enough tests in stock. |
